Meet Dennis, an IC Design Specialist working for Widex. Dennis helps people with hearing loss achieve a higher quality of life.
The best part about working in the medtech industry is that I am able to make a difference through what I do on a daily basis. I love creative challenges where I am able to experience the end-phase of a product and how the user benefits from what I made.
When I began working, I was surprised by the thoroughness of the medtech industry. The industry is highly technological and competitive and it is all about being the best at what you do – all of this, while simultaneously taking product regulations into account. There needs to be certain procedures before we can ensure that the quality is perfect.
The tasks that I find most endearing, are the tasks where I am allowed to use my creativity.
