I’m a part of BK Medical’s development team, more specifically the user experience team where we translate the user needs into a final product and here my responsibility is to design and concept the user interface on our ultrasound scanners.
This involves interactions with both a lot of people within the organization but also the surgeons and the urologist that are the users.
I chose a career within MedTech when I chose to be a medico engineer .
Here I quite fast realized that my interest was within medical imaging, that being ultrasound, PET, MRI, CT, and by working within these specialties I realized that I could provide or improve the health care system that way.
